                    "LOGARITHMIC-EXPONENTIAL SERIES"

The logarithmic-exponential series provide a natural algebraic
nonstandard model of the field of real numbers with exponentiation in
which one can easily analyze asymptotic behavior of definable
functions.  I will show how this model can be used to answer a problem
of Hardy’s.  (This is joint work with Angus Macintyre and Lou van den
Dries.)
